About My Practice
I am a clinical mental health therapist licensed to practice in Illinois. I graduated with my Master's in Social Work from the University of Illinois Chicago's Jane Addams College of Social Work in 2019.
Throughout my career in mental and behavioral health, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of individuals. With years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I have assisted individuals through various life transitions, such as adjusting to new environments, navigating health challenges, rebuilding routines, and managing shifts in social connections, among others. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the emotional and psychological complexities people face during transitions, enabling me to provide compassionate, client-centered support to individuals from all walks of life.
In my private practice, I focus on offering the tools and guidance necessary to help clients feel empowered, resilient, and confident as they navigate their personal journeys. I understand that life transitions—whether personal, professional, relational, or developmental—can trigger a mix of emotions, from fear and sadness to excitement, or even a blend of all three. These changes can shake us to our core, reshaping our thoughts, emotions, and sense of identity. It is my passion to guide you through these changes, helping you rediscover your true self and find renewed purpose and meaning, no matter how overwhelming the transition may feel.
As a therapist, I believe each individual requires a personalized approach to healing. My practice uniquely blends spiritual and holistic approaches with evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Breathwork, and Guided Meditation.
My goal is to guide you through life’s changes with empathy and understanding, creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space for self-discovery, growth, and transformation. I look forward to meeting you and beginning this journey together.
Sincerely,
Lesley Glenn, LCSW
